Understanding the Operation level panel

All functions and services in Mlytics platform operates in one of the 3 levels: 

  1. Account level
  2. Site level
  3. Domain level.

Operation level panel has 2 main functions:

  1. To easily know at which level a given function or service operates.
  2. To easily choose and set target site and/or target domain, when navigating the platform 

The Operation level panel is found on the topmost left portion of the platform, and consists of 3 parts: 

the ‘ Mlytics logo’, the ‘Site panel’, and the ‘Domain panel’.

Account level

A function operates on the ‘Account level’ when:

The ‘Site panel’ displays ‘All site’ or disabled, and the ‘Domain panel’ displays ‘All domain’ or disabled.

Example: ‘Managed CDN’ is an ‘Account level’ function.

Site level

A function operates on the ‘Site level’ when:

The Site panel displays a specific site, and the Domain panel displays “All domain” or disabled. You may select a specific site using the dropdown menu on the ‘Site panel’.

Example: ‘DNS Records’ is a ‘Site level’ function.

Domain level

A function operates on the ‘Domain level’ when:

The Site panel displays a specific site, and the Domain panel displays a specific domain. You may select a specific domain using the dropdown menu on the ‘Domain panel’.

Example: ‘CDN management’ is a ‘Domain level’ function.

Operation level navigation

As mentioned above, the Operation level panel can also be used to actively navigate between different sites and/or domains within the platform.

Clicking the ‘Mlytics logo’ will direct the user to the ‘Account level Overview’.

When the ‘Site panel’ is active, the user can also navigate between different sites, by choosing the target site on the ‘Site panel’.

When the ‘Domain panel’ is active, the user can also navigate between different domains, by choosing the target domain on the ‘Domain panel’.
