Understanding the Operation level panel

All functions and services in Mlytics platform operates in one of the 3 levels:

  1. Account level
  2. Site level
  3. Domain level.

To easily know at which level a given function or service operates, the user can refer to the ‘Operation level panel’.

The Operation level panel is found on the topmost left portion of the platform, and consists of 3 parts: the ‘Mlytics logo’, the ‘Site panel’, and the ‘Domain panel’.

Account level

A function operates on the ‘Account level’ when:

The ‘Site panel’ displays ‘All site’ or disabled, and the ‘Domain panel’ displays ‘All domain’ or disabled.

Example: ‘Managed CDN’ is an ‘Account level’ function.

Site level

A function operates on the ‘Site level’ when:

The Site panel displays a specific site, and the Domain panel displays “All domain” or disabled. You may select a specific site using the dropdown menu on the ‘Site panel’.

Example: ‘DNS Records’ is a ‘Site level’ function.

Domain level

A function operates on the ‘Domain level’ when:

The Site panel displays a specific site, and the Domain panel displays a specific domain. You may select a specific domain using the dropdown menu on the ‘Domain panel’.

Example: ‘CDN management’ is a ‘Domain level’ function.

Operation level navigation

Aside from using the Operation level panel as reference to check which level a function or service operates, it can also be actively used to navigate within the platform.

Clicking the ‘Mlytics logo’ will direct the user to the ‘Account level Overview’.

When the ‘Site panel’ (or ‘Domain panel’) is active, the user can also navigate between different sites (or different domains).
